The Software Support Services Directorate (S3) is comprised of three divisions, each providing Army-wide mission-critical capabilities through Information Technology (IT) solutions. The Software Assurance Division (SwAD) is charted as an Army Agent of Certification Authority (ACA)/validator, responsible for providing validation services in support of Certification & Accreditation (C&A). SwAD has a robust capability to provide engineering services to address assurance needs to include malicious code analysis, independent Software Quality Assessment (iSQA), Information Assurance (IA) Engineering, support to system owner's Networthiness programs, and overall software assurance support across disciplines. The Application Support Division (ASD) is responsible for Business Intelligence (BI) applications, Replication, Distribution, Installation, &Training (RDIT), and enterprise infrastructure services. The Software Asset Management and Centralized Acquisition & License Management (SAM/CALM) Division is responsible for software acquisition, license management, software asset management and the Material Field Exception (MFE) program.
